Hey, I'm Jo — the creative behind The Print Socialite!
For too long, party games weren't made for us.
You've been there, right?
You're planning a celebration — maybe a family reunion, a bridal shower, or just a fun Saturday night with friends. You search online for party games…
And everything you find is... generic.
Trivia questions about things nobody in your family relates to. References that fall flat. Games that feel like they were made for someone else's party — not yours.
That's why I created The Print Socialite.
Hi, I'm Jo. I love a good game night, a folding table covered in food, and family members talking trash like it’s a sport. That’s the vibe I design for.
A few years ago, I was planning games for my own celebrations and I kept hitting the same wall...nothing felt right for a party full of Black people.
I was tired of:
- Playing party games where half the questions made everyone go "...who?"
- Holiday games with zero Black families, cultural references, or actual traditions we celebrate
- Questions about Friends and Seinfeld when we grew up on Living Single and Martin
So I started making my own games — ones that referenced OUR culture, our inside jokes, our traditions. Games that match the energy of our celebrations...loud, fun, and unapologetically us.
What started as a few games for my own events has grown into a brand trusted by thousands of Black people across the country.
